What is Lendico?
Lendico is a lending app designed with the intention of making the lending process easy. The application grants you easy access to loans with just a few clicks.
Is Lendico a bank?
No, Lendico is not a bank. We do not receive deposits from the general public nor do we offer savings or current accounts services.
How do I get started?
Our app is easily accessible by direct download and also from the Apple App Store for download and you can get started in just a few minutes and most importantly, it is completely free.
Is Lendico registered?
Lendico is a service provided by Lendico Nigeria Ltd (RC1927521 ), a licensed and regulated company.
Loans
How do loans work?
Complete our 100% online application and submit with the necessary documentation, this should take only a few minutes. Our team reviews the information provided and revert with a decision within 24 hours. If approved, you will receive funds directly into your preferred bank account within a few minutes of loan approval.
How do I apply for a loan on Lendico?
Applying for a loan is a very simple process on Lendico. Once you are logged into the App, navigate to the Loan section and fill in your personal and employment details for a loan request.
What is the interest rate?
We operate a risk – based pricing model to determine repayment on loans
How much can I borrow on Lendico?
For your first loan request, you can borrow as much as N25,000. Your loan eligibility increases as we get to know you better.
What do I need to apply for a loan on Lendico?
We keep to our words, no collateral. All you need to make a loan request on Lendico are just:
  • Your personal details.
  • Your employment details.
  • A functional bank account.
  • A functional debit card (Mastercard / Visa).
  • Valid Identification documents.
Why is my Bank Verification Number (BVN) required?
Your BVN is used to verify that the individual applying for a Lendico loan is the same as the owner of the provided bank account. This is to prevent unauthorized use of your details by a 3rd party. Kindly note that providing your BVN does not provide access to your account. If in doubt, you may decide to confirm from your bank.
How does Lendico make a lending decision?
A lending decision is made from your credit score as a borrower. Your credit score is based on the information that you provide to us. The more genuine this information is, the higher your chances of getting a loan.
Why was my loan request declined?
We’re very sorry for declining your request. It only means we don’t have a loan product that matches your profile at the moment. We want you to check back with us soon.
Will my loan size increase as I repay?
Yes, the more you repay the higher the loan amount you are eligible for.
I am yet to receive any notification on my loan status.
Notifications are usually sent via email immediately after your loan application is sent. If you have not received either of these, please contact us.
How do I check my account balance and due dates?
Please log in to your Lendico app to view all details concerning your loan.
Repayment and transactions
How can I repay my loan?
You can repay your loan either manually or via the auto-debit service.
How does auto-debit work?
The auto-debit service makes loan repayment seamless. The service uses the debit card attached to your active loan to initiate a loan repayment for you. Auto-debit helps you stay true to your words and increase your credit score.
What cards can I auto-debit?
Lendico supports MasterCard and Visa cards for auto-debit as long as there are sufficient funds in the account, you don’t need to worry.
Can I repay my loan before the due date?
Sure! You can pay as soon as you can afford to repay, it doesn’t matter if the loan is not due yet.
What happens if I can’t make a payment on my due date?
We understand that financial circumstances can change, however, it is essential to note that we do not reschedule repayment dates and you should only take a Lendico loan if you are reasonably certain you have the means to repay within the agreed period. There may be fees associated with late repayments. In addition, defaulting loans are reported to national Credit Bureaus and this can severely affect your ability to access loans in future. We therefore advise you to make every effort to meet your obligations on time.
Can my loan repayment date be rescheduled?
Kindly note that due dates are fixed when your loan is approved. We do not reschedule due dates, so kindly ensure appropriate planning to be able to meet repayments as at when due.
Can I pay down on my loan?
Yes, you can pay in installments to reduce your total outstanding loan.
Security
Why do I have to add my BVN?
Your BVN is strictly for identity verification to help us kick against identity theft and protect your funds and transactions.
Are my card details safe?
Your security is our topmost priority. We warehouse your card details with a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, Paystack for your security.
